ABOUT
Founded in 2017 as a solution for our own children, with the goal of creating a more intentional, academically balanced, and connected learning environment.
Skyhawk Academy is founded and led by an international educator with a PGDE, specialising in education philosophy, International Baccalaureate Category 2 training, and prior department leadership at an IB World School. The founder is also a Cambridge examiner for IGCSE English oral assessment and has received Outstanding Teacher recognition from the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change
What began as a small educational initiative has grown into a thriving learning community serving both local and international families in Bali.

CULTURE
Project-based learning is central to student life through annual community events including our Halloween Celebration, Nyepi cultural celebration featuring student-created Ogoh-Ogoh, and Graduation Show productions.
These events provide authentic opportunities for creativity, collaboration, leadership, and student performance through arts, singing, dance, drama, and presentation.
Students benefit from clear expectations, consistent routines, and a calm, connected environment that supports the development of independence, responsibility, and confidence.
Beyond academics, students participate in clubs, excursions, annual events, and shared experiences that strengthen friendships, belonging, and community engagement.
PATHWAYS
Students progress into a range of educational pathways, including schools, colleges and universities.
The curriculum is fully compatible with Cambridge IGCSE, International Baccalaureate (IB), and most international examination systems.
Formal external examinations, including Cambridge IGCSE qualifications, are undertaken through accredited partner schools or authorised examination centres.
Based on alumni feedback and destination tracking, Skyhawk graduates have successfully transitioned into a wide range of international curricula and demonstrate strong performance in entry and placement assessments.
