Skyhawk Academy students enjoy cultural enagagement

OUR LEARNING PROGRAMMES

Globally, on average independent academies, tutorial colleges, and alternative education models consistently demonstrate:

- stronger academic outcomes
- higher behavioural standards
- more effective learning cultures than most large mainstream systems

Smaller class sizes, clearer accountability, focused teaching environments, and stronger school-family relationships often allow students to progress more rapidly both academically and personally.

This is one of the reasons Skyhawk Academy intentionally operates as an independent selective learning centre within Indonesia’s non-formal education framework.

This structure allows us to focus directly on educational quality, measurable student progress, learning culture, and long-term outcomes rather than excessive administrative bureaucracy.

In the British education model that we follow, formal qualifications and external examinations such as Cambridge IGCSE / AS-Levels are accessible through multiple educational pathways via authorised examination centres.

Provided students meet the required academic standards, recognised qualifications can be achieved.

This pathway has been successfully used for decades by millions of students internationally through academies, tutorial colleges, independent learning centres, and specialist education programmes.

Learning delivery is further supported through IXL’s standards-aligned diagnostic and practice platform.

Programmes cover six core learning areas:

  • English

  • Mathematics

  • Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)

  • Humanities (History, Civics, Geography)

  • Creative Arts / Design & Technology

  • Physical Development

ACADEMIC PROGRESS & ASSESSMENT

Student progress is monitored through a multi-source assessment framework combining:

  • AI assisted IXL Diagnostic baseline and progress tracking

  • AI assisted IXL skill checkpoints

  • Cambridge-aligned assessment materials

  • teacher assessment and classroom evidence

Assessment data is used to:

  • identify learning gaps

  • guide teaching and intervention

  • set achievable learning targets

  • monitor academic growth over time

This integrated approach supports clear and measurable student development.
